The Belarusian Association of Physicians (BAP) maintains the national registry of physicians, evaluates qualifications, and issues professional certificates for practice within the Republic of Belarus and abroad.

The Process

Step 2: Verification

Data Verification

The Registrar verifies diplomas with issuing institutions (7-14 days) and conducts ethical clearance.

Step 3: Outcome

Registry Entry

Upon approval, your name is entered into the national registry, and a digital certificate is issued.

Frequently Asked Questions

Good Standing Validity?
3 months from the date of issue. We recommend requesting this immediately before submitting to a foreign regulator.
Is Direct Submission available?
Yes, the BAP sends documents directly to regulators (GMC, DHA, etc.) to ensure PSV compliance.
How does DataFlow verification work?
The BAP is authorized to respond to DataFlow Group requests. We verify diploma authenticity within 5 business days of receiving the request.
Is document translation required?
If documents are in Russian/Belarusian, certified translation is required. The BAP provides this service via accredited translators.

Certificate of Good Standing (CGS) Validity

In accordance with international standards (such as GMC, ECFMG etc.), the Certificate of Good Standing issued by the Association is valid for three (3) months from the date of issue.

Recommendation: We strongly recommend requesting this document only when you are fully ready to submit your application to a foreign medical board to avoid document expiration during the review process.

Submission to Regulator

Yes. To ensure the integrity of the primary source verification (PSV) process, the Association has the technical capability to send your documents directly to the requesting authority.

This applies to the following documents:

  • Certificate of Good Standing (CGS)
  • Certificate of Registration (Health License)
  • Certificate of Current Professional Status (CCPS)

We use secure electronic communication channels to guarantee confidentiality.

DataFlow and Foreign Applications

Yes. As an officially recognized professional organization, the Association is authorized to respond to verification requests from foreign regulators and the DataFlow Group system.

The process is as follows:

  1. You upload your credentials to the portal (DHA, HAAD, OMSB, SCFHS).
  2. The regulator sends a request to our registry.
  3. We confirm the authenticity of your diplomas and certificates within 5 business days.
Medical Document Translation

Yes. The Association provides certified medical translation services.

Our accredited translators perform professional translation of:

  • Diplomas and supplements

  • Employment records

Translation is performed in strict accordance with the terminological requirements of foreign regulators and is certified by the Association's seal.
